I suppose this is the time to talk about how a year ended, and reflect etc. I think my subject line sums it all up nicely, she'll be loved. I had a pretty good year, Elhamdulillah. Highlight of the year being my graduation from UW-Madison and getting my lovely Bachelors Degree in Journalism (honors mind you!) But of course I could not have predicted the kicker that came on October 21st 2006. Just wow. It's been over two months now, and I still can not believe how blessed I am. All of your life can really change in a moment, I never believed in that more than I do now. I am just waiting till February. Now, that ins will be a magical month. Oh, just can't wait, but I will!!
I realized that the last photo I posted was me in the bookworm outfit. Well, lets update! My brother turned 12 on November 16th. For his present I bought him a box of books! I have ruined his Harry Potter set by reading it three times. I bought him the entire series in hard cover. I also got him an assortment of books that I knew he would like.
I was going to get him a icecream cake from Coldstone Creamery by my house. When my mom and me went to buy the cake we found out that that location went out of business! Weird, considering I was there last week buying icecream. So we settled for a peanut butter cup pie from Bakers Square, which was delicious!
It only snowed once this winter. I can so feel the global warming. Well, my brother doesn't seem to mind. He is not a big fan of shoveling.
Eid al Adha (Kurban Bayrami) was a few days ago. YAY for my new brown boots!
There's my friend Yasmin and I. She has some awesome news, but I am not sure if I am at liberty to post them. Hmm, I gotta check with her on that one!
My brother skipped the suit this Eid. Now that I think about it, this pic can benefit from some cropping.
We had a lot of people come to our house for eid. This pretty girl is Dine. She fell down the stairs the day before Eid. Poor baby had to get three stiches. Elhamdulillah she's ok now.
Mr. Balisterirey stopped by for a visit all the way from Princeton New Jersey. YAY!
All in all, it's been a very good year. But I know it will be nothing compared to what will be in store for me next year. InsaAllah. Can't wait! kelebek }{
