tow silky hairstreak

I decided to change the butterfly on my template to a butterfly that is "endemic to Australia". It is known as The Silky Hairstreak. Pretty name for a pretty butterfly!
I never knew the expresion "when it rains, it pours" can be used in a positive sense. To me it usually meant when something starts going wrong, the rest goes downhill from there. Lately it feels like everything has been looking up, and it just keeps on getting better. Elhamdurillah, I keep murmuring every chance I get. Life has never been better!
I am coming home exhausted these days due to all the activity from the holiday shoppers. I don't mind because the day goes by quicker, but it does wear me out a lot. One of the favorite things I did for work was dressing up as a Bookworm. We went to a school and handed books to kids. And I got to entertain them in my giant green costume. Doesn't it do wonders for my figure?

I don't know why you're so far away
But I know that this much is true
We'll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with
And I wish that you could be the one I die with
And I'm praying you're the one I build my home with
I hope I love you all my life

tow bliss

Where do I begin? I re-read my last post from October 27th, and I am going to report that I am happier than I was on that day. It is amazing how quickly the pieces fall into place once you find the right person! I have not talked too much about how I was doing relationshipwise for a number of reasons, but now I have the one reason that trumps them all! I am in love. Not only I am in love, but I am in love with the most amazing man in the world. And on top it all he loves me (and of course according to him, he loves me more, but we'll settle that later). And if that's not enough reason for me to be happy, we have some very, very exciting plans for this summer. I keep saying "Elhamdurillah (thank Allah) and InsaAllah (Allah willing)" every chance I get, to ensure I thank Allah enough for sending the most amazing man in the world my way enough. This was mostly the reason I haven't been posting much, we got tons to talk about and considering he's halfway around the world (no literally, the bottom of the earth in Australia) that's the only way we can keep in touch for now!
Other than this very, very exciting news I have not been up to much. I am working overtime this week because of the holiday season. We got boxes upon boxes of books in the backroom which needs to be shelve so I'll be at work at 7 AM ready to shelve. So I need to go to sleep before long to make sure I will survive through the 10 hours shift.
Elhamdurillah!!!

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

(whee for my hero!)
