I quit being lazy, (and I had nothing better to do) so I decided to post the pictures here. Just three more days of vacation left till the insanity also known as my senior year at the university begins. EEEK!
MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO
Fun in the zoo. What is wrong with that giraffe? It looks like it has the colors backwards? Weird!
My brother riding "Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) type of car" His words not mine!
This thing is something-something long horn. I don't remember the name!
Eeyore! Well my brother disagreed and said it looks like "donkey" from shrek. What do you guys think?
Goats!!
ROAD TRIP TO MICHIGAN
I spent the first four hours of the trip sleeping. I took this one right after I woke up
Double-oh-mom! That's what we kept calling her the first time she got her sunglasses!
I think I made a new friend! This was in Ohio where my dad had to do some computer business for the company he works for.
History happened here, well at least thats what the sing said. That is my lovely brother next to me of course. He has an appointment to get braces in December, yay!
BANG BANG. All the shops for some reason had this in their windows. I guess they are having too much trouble with people walking in with firearms to restaurants and homemade craft shops in a suburb of Ohio!
This is in Ann Arbor Michigan. The lovely kiddos around me are daughter and son of our friend whose house we visited in Michigan.
Oh the joys of hotel rooms! Since our friends were packing to move we were stuck in a hotel. My mom was so mad, she kept complaining "Bu yastiklar kafa kokuyor" meaning these pillows smell like someone's head. She stole one of my pillows!!
On the way back my brother and my mom fell asleep. I had fun taking silly pictures of both of them when they were sleeping. This one is my favorite!
Ah the end of our perfect journey, getting pulled over by a cop in Kenosha! My dad had a head light out for the longest time and we got pulled over because of it. My dad kept saying we were coming back from "Detroit" but the cop thought my dad was saying "the train" Not the sharpest tool in the shed that cop. And that concluded our journey. Fun!
Burcu and her family came over for a visit when I was in Milwaukee, which meant more pictures of my boyfriend!!
My bff y'all (burcu kiz, if you hate this pic tell me I'll take it off. Sana kendi resmini beyendirmek zor is yaw!!)

tow start of road trip
Time does fly when you are having fun. I've been really busy lately doing all kinds of stuff with my little brother. Well he's not so little anymore, considering he's almost 11! We went to the zoo on Wednesday. It was soo much fun we went around and looked at everything there was to look at. I even got to touch a sting-ray and my brother rode a camel. Today we went to my brother's picnic thing. It is for his new school. In case you haven't read me bragging nonstop about it earlier, let me remind you that my brother is starting 6th grade! He's going a middle school for gifted and talented students. MasaAllah. Okay enough bragging! My boyfriend came over for a little bit yesterday. I can't believe he's turning two in November, where does the time go? It feels like yesterday we got the call that Enes was on his way, way earlier than we expected! Elhamdurillah he's great now! If you ask him nicely he'll say "I love you" although it more sounds like " Ay-uyy-yuuu" yeah something like that! I got some pics of him too. I'll upload them later in the week I think. So, road trip. Blegh, I really hate road trips. I hate being in the car for long periods of time. I get nauseated and so bored. I am not sure what the itinerary is like, I think we are going to Ohio first than Michigan, but than again it could be something else. I really don't have a sense of direction!! It'll give me time to work my way through the fifth Harry Potter book. I bought an unofficial guide. I read one chapter of the HP book, than go read the "mystery guide" of the, well the guide! I wonder if I'll have this much time on my hands once the semester starts? Hmm, I highly doubt it, but HP will provide a nice break from zillions of papers I will have to write this semester. And I am starting work on my thesis. Oh the joys of being a senior all over again, except this time in University! The queen of procrastination (and also getting lost!) needs to start packing now. It is almost one in the morning, and we are leaving around 5 in the morning. Yeah, I better start packing! If I can find a connection in the hotel or something I'll try to blog from there, but I am not sure!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!!!!! DOGUM GUNUN KUTLU OLSUN!!! And a little late but, Welcome back Alex! Hosgeldin Ahmet! kelebek }{

tow hanzos
Ah yes the joys of returning home! My summer school finally ended and I have no choice but to come back to Milwaukee to suffer two weeks of hearing how fat I am and how I should stop eating. Oh joy! Well no not really. I am here hopefully till the 25th, and returning to Madison afterwards. My classes don't start until the 2nd so that'll give me some time to settle in and get into the rhytm of things. I also want to meet our new roomate. She's coming from Texas y'all so it should be interesting! Oh and Rachel is back from Turkey. She has so many good pictures of "Hanzo" man. Ehehe, I'll scan some pics if I get a chance so you can see what a Turkish Hanzo looks like. Rachel and I had a good time laughing at the shoes and overly jelled hair of the men in the pics she took, along with their oh-so-casually not tucked in shirts and jeans. Blegh! No pics of anybody cute though, she was having too much fun with the hanzos! Would have been nice though if she did got some cute Turkish guys, God knows its been years since I seen a non-hanzo and/or good looking Turkish dude. Ehehe, it just must be my luck. Speaking of guys, for all of you in with the "Qatar dude" story line, I seen a lot of him in summer school. Grr!! Rachel and I had fun for the past couple of days scoring free stuff. See in Madison most people's leases ends on the 14th so there is tons and tons of people moving out of their apartments. And they put the stuff they don't want/need on the curb, and anybody can take it. I managed to get a very nice futon matress, and Rachel found a frame. We had to hoist it up the fire escape because there was no way that thing was going up the stairs. Too bad I don't have pictures of our adventure with the metal futon frame and the fire escape! I also found a nice desk for our new roomate, along with a kitchen table and two chairs. Rachel also got a us a new lamp. I also got a nice bookshelf to put my CD's and DVD's. Oh the joys of decorating our house for free from the curb! I better get to sleep now, it is past 2 AM! I finished the 6 Harry Potter books and started reading the series over. I am on the 4th book now. These books are like crack!! kelebek }{
