tow more lazy days
I always thought my brother was smarter than me when I was his age, and my theory has been proven true. He got second place in the spelling bee. He spelled "Colonel" wrong (and yes I did have to look it up. I can't spell people, you should know that by now.) Here is some pics. My brother is on the left, and his friend is on the right.

Ok this pic is humongous because I want to point out the writing on the box. "Assorted Porkchops" Ehehe wonder who brought that to a Turkish Picnic. (No people we didn't have porkchops. Yeesh!)
I am back in Madison now. Rachel and I had a little change in plans for our camping trip. I did say we were going camping rite? We are going to leave on Sunday instead. Should be fun. I'll be taking lots of pics, ins, so I am looking forward to that. I gotta pack my crap at my old apartment. Sigh, I am NOT looking forward to that at all!

tow laziness
I think my brainpower took a nose dive after the classes ended. I've been so burned out during the semester that now I don't want to do anything. Woke up around 1:30, bummed around the house, took a nap at 5:00, woke up at 6:30, went out with my mom, came back, bummed around, napped at 9:00-10:00, watched some TV. Yes people I am wasting time like I've never done before. Tomorrow promises to be more productive. Gotta get up early to buy fish from the Greek store. My brother has a spelling-bee at 12:45. I don't know where that kid gets his spelling talent (definately not me!) I'll take some pics.
The picnic was really nice, but cold. As I was telling Rachel, "We are Turks dammit, we will picnic rain or shine, snow or sleet" And we did. I put the piccies up on flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kelebek for your viewing pleasure.
Rachel and I going camping this Friday. I am really excited. I've never been camping before. We are planning on planning a two day adventure somewhere up North. We are procastinators, so we will come up with plans on Thursday -the same day I go home to Madison.

tow finals week
I have to go real quick but read this people. (click here) Uhh, what to do when your date overeats. Are you kidding me?! Somebody actually decided to write an article about that? How about you dig in with her/him and enjoy food instead of reading articles on MSN about how to tactfully say to them they are eating. Yeesh. Do note that it was a men who wrote the article.

tow gorgeous sunday wasted indoors
Today was absolutely gorgeous. It was warm and sunny. And what did kelebek do? Stayed inside and studied. Ugh. I am really really starting to dislike college life. Maby I should reconsider my grad school ambitions... No, must stay focused.
Today there was the pancake breakfast at the Wilmer center. It was really good with taters and pancakes with fruit in em. YUM. There was a potluck at the library for the interfaith group at noon. I did get to [TINA SAYS FOCUS] take a tiny nap. Review session, Steep & Brew and rest is history. S & B closed at 11:00 so now Tina and I are at the Union. She is typing away (bs-ing away) her poly sci paper while I am supposedly studying for J565, well I am not obviously!
I'll leave before I bore everyone to death. I am looking forward to days where I can post, and I won't have to mention a paper, a test, a midterm or something of that nature...
