sigh, it is so depressing outside its rainy and dark... perfect time to go under my blanket with a nice book and couple of apples... but noooo, i have a paper due tommorow and a lovely midterm due thruday grrrrrr I LOVE MY NEW FOOD PROCESSOR! it holds 8 cups. and it slices and dices, and it has an S blade. its AWESOME. it shredded cabage n i used the S blade for cababge. so quick and soo good YEAH YEAH YEAH. i gotta go2post office2mail the coupons. hmm wonder if my coupons are here. kelebek }{

tow too much to do
I had a wonderful weekend. I went home! it was so nice to have somebody cook for me, my mom. she is the best cook ever! then on saturday we had couple families over for iftar. thats always fun. Yusuf was there too. He is getting so big. He is sooooo cute. He says "baba, abla, bay bay" when you hold him he marches ahead with steps. I bet he'll walk b4 he's a year old! I got just too much wrk to do. i gotta finish a rough draft by wednesday. thats not the problem, the problem is that the directions are SO vague, I dont' know how to fill up 4 pages with taht. also got my take home midterm due on thurday. gotta write a 2 page and a 4 page essay. Also got the Turkish/ Azeri test on thurday. I HATE CYRLIC ALPHABET so hard to memorize. well i got so much to do, why am i wasting time posting a blog? cuz i don't feel like working on anything. grr! ok m outta here gna go do some research now. kelebek }{

tow i feel smart
I am in really good mood2day!!! I've been studying philosophy, for way too long, but i am finally getting it. I can feel my cranium expand in my skull as I understand the truth tree, thruth table and proofs business! I am worried bout the jour ppr coming up, cuz i am totally cluless as if to what the heck m i supposed to write it on! the directions are so so so vague, its annoying. got an AB on my chicano study ppr, so not fair cuz ppl who haven't even read the book got an AB. but i'll discuss tht w/ the prof. m probably going home this weekend, Burcu fam and couple of other ppl r coming over for iftar. YEAH! boy iftar sounds good now. there is an interfaith program2day and they are going to feed us after that, which is AWESOME. now gotta go back2studying for phil. i think i am ready though. My best friend from elemantary school emailed me today. can you believe that! i am so so happie the midterm on friday is creeping up awfully close. m kinda worried but it is a good feeling to know i know kinda what i am doing. except those damn proofs!!!! its true cuz i say its true okay! oh i did sometin real stupid. for homework i changed how i did number 3 and i took out the last page of the hw and put the new page there. well turns out on the page i took out i also had question number 2 there. i lost freaking 5 points. i was about to cry, well i did cry a lil... got 7.5 out of 10 on the jour test. missed a real easy question, m still kickin myself over it. going to get the chic ppr back prob today. i really think i did okay. kelebek }{

One more midterm done, two more to go! tow cook books
I bought lotta new cook books@ a book sale. for 50 cents each how can I pass them up?! and of course it doesn't help that i am fasting and so hungry! My weekend was pretty good. my parents came for iftar. no i didn't cook. to quote my baba "butun mutfagi tasidik (we brought the entire kitchen!). yum yum i have enough for two more days. that means no cooking, which means no washing the dishes!!! my house is spotless thanks to anne! she cleaned even my bathroom sink. ehehe, u gotta love her :) i got another mid term2morrow 4italian lit. kinda gotta go study4tht but m wasting time online. got me a gmail account. 1GB storage YEAH!!!! i am worried bout the phil exam coming up. 2drop or not2drop, m not sure yet. i guess i'll wait till i get back the first test. i should check when is the last day2drop classes is. oh n jour exam was ok. he picked terms i was familiar with. not sure how the lovely TA will like my answers. i'll find out on wednesday, so stay tuned. kelebek }{

tow 26 dollar taxi ride
Today can be officially labeled the worst morning of my life.
woke up at six finished phil homework the TA said he can help me with hw around 9. caught the bus at 8. checked backpack didn't have the jour articles. screw tht i already know enuf. checked for phil hw to go over, no phil hw in back pack. checked again, no hw. at the trasnfer point caught the 6gng back home. found out that bus only goes as far as the west towned mall. got off at westowne mall at 8:45. the next bus was at 9:18 which would make me late for the exam. started crying. called mom. called a cab. went back home. got the articles coudlnt' find hw. got back in cab. went to campus paid 26 dollars went to class sat down looked in the back of the binder found the homework. real real real angry. took the test. it wasn't that bad
so yeah that is my morning. done with everythin now. there is an iftar@ Burcu's house. i gotta bring sometin not nice2empty handed. gotta buy some alfredo sauce though. i had two huge cups of coffee. but i can feel the effect wearing off gradually. gna go home n crash for a while! kelebek
